About

Liz is a physiotherapist whose lifelong interest in horses has seen her follow her passion in physiotherapy specifically for riders.

This combines her knowledge of physiotherapy, biomechanics, rehabilitation and movement analysis with her equestrian experience to deliver a professionalized service to follow riders.

A rider physiotherapist uses their understanding of the body mechanics to assess and treat imbalances in the rider. By observing movement patterns, correcting and treating where needed, the rider and horse can perform better, without pain.

BACKGROUND

Liz is a New Zealand registered physiotherapist who has worked in various rolls both in NZ and abroad. She has travelled with sports teams and owned and worked in private practices since 1990.

Liz treats a variety of musculoskeletal conditions with particular interest in muscular imbalance, stability problems and movement pattern issues and has a clinical Pilates certification from Dance Medicine Australia.

Liz has special interests in Pelvic Health working with both men and women. She is certified with Women’s Health Training Association and credentialed by Doctor Melissa Davidson.

Liz is Bradcliff/Breathing works trained and treats breathing pattern disorders.

She brings a well-rounded, educated package to help better your performance with your horses.
